ABOUT NEC E-LIBRARY
Background Summary
In 1998, the National Election Committee (NEC) was established in accordance with the Law on the National Assembly Election, which was adopted in 1997 and the Law on the Amendment of this Law. The National Election Committee has the authority to organize and administer the election of the Senate and the election of the National Assembly, as well as other elections as determined by law.
The NEC Library was established in 2017 in accordance with NEC Decision No.732 dated 27 December 2017 for the purpose of preserving all election-related documents such as Royal Decrees, Sub-Decrees, Laws, Regulations and Procedures, bulletins, magazines, posters and leaflets, etc. Libraries play an important role in promoting education, research, personality development, ethics and many other important values.
Due to the limited use of library services for researchers, remote readers ...Hence, In 2023, the NEC Library evolved into an Electronic Library. The NEC Library has the following vision, goals and mission as follows:
Vision
Provides high-tech electronic network to distribute a wealth of documents, especially election process related documents, through the NEC E-Library to researchers and electoral stakeholders to conduct remote research with high efficiency.
